World Cancer Day 2023 - 5km Close the Loop Challenge
World Cancer Day is marking its second out of three years close the care gap campaign on 4 February.
In order to make some noise and draw attention to the fact that cancer care inequities exist worldwide, World Cancer Day is calling on all of us to “Close a loop of 5km” in order to get us all to wake up to their call to get active and mimic the closing of the care gap with this challenge.
We are calling on our FEARLESS. tribe to get out there in your FEARLESS. hoodies and t-shirts to raise awareness and if you aren’t part of the tribe yet, we invite you to get your hoody or t-shirt now! (see below) A percentage of all sales are donated to cancer associations and charities. You will be raising awareness and funds for vital research while closing down the care gap!
Close a loop of 5 kilometres by running, cycling, swimming, walking, hiking...you get the idea!
Once you’ve completed the challenge, post your accomplishment on Instagram, TikTok, or the channel of your choice and nominate 5 of your friends to do the same and help spread the word!
